This policy was prepared in keeping with the vision of international Labour Organization (ILO) on Gender Equality. Which has as its primary focus the promotion of opportunities for men and women to obtain decent and productive work conditions of freedom, equity, security, and human dignity. Those concepts are embodied in the four conventions viz. Convention No. 100-Equal Remuneration, Convention No. 156- work and family responsibility and Convention No. 183- Maternity Protection.
