Divided into four Sections, this Department produces an average of four thousand tonnes of castings per year.  It comprises Crucible type Furnaces of 250kgs; 600kgs; 1400kgs and a 7 tonne capacity Cold Blast Cupola; Centrifugal Casting Machines; Sand Graders; Batch Mixers for Moulding Sand preparation; and a combination of intricate Electrical Tools relative to Foundry use.
